  Yesterday's Chicken and Ham pie rates as one of the best pub pies I've ever eaten! A minor criticism was that the portion was just too huge but with a pie that good I had to finish it all. Washed down with a couple of super pints of the local Worley's cider. I drank the last of the cider. Do hope it wasn't a one-off and that real cider becomes a regular here.

  Lived in Evercreech just 3 miles away for the last 11 years and have only tonight been to this well know pub. Food was very good. You do pay the higher prices here but in return you get higher quality food. Would recommend. 20/09/2014

  Hadn't been here for a long time, but the new owners are doing a great job. The food is a definite high point - quality and quantity!
